SUN SALUTATION CLINIC

Am I doing this right? Feel like you jumped into class mid-stream (or mid salutation) and have been playing catch-up ever since? Bring it back to the fundamentals and demystify this integral part of modern vinyasa yoga.

You will come away with a functional understanding of each pose and how we link these poses together to flow through a sun salutation. We will focus on breath and alignment, and pay specific attention to chatauranga dandasana – it’s actually a posture (not a transition), and with modifications it’s possible for everyone to incorporate a variation into their vinyasa practice! We will also address common misalignments that can lead to discomfort or injury.

Half Sun Salutation (aka “sun breath”)
Lunging Salutations
Surya Namaskar A

Uncoil the muscles of your back, shoulders, limbs, and core. Find space in your body for a full, deep breath. Get to know yourself and the places you can let go. Whether you are new to yoga, or returning to your mat, take this opportunity to make time for yourself.
